how TO play:

1. build your deck!

Build your deck of multiples of ten.
Ten cards is for a quick and simple game, 40 cards can have a game lasting for hours!A good ratio of item, shield, ability andfriend cards can make a huge difference. get new decks here!

2. layout
shuffle and place your deck face down to the bottom left or right of your space.
This is the draw pile. the opposite side is your graveyard/purgatory, when a card is used up or out of health it goes here. your "into play" space is in a line in front of the deck. shield cards go in front of friend cards, and items go next to friend cards.

3. draw

decide turns. on first turn, draw until you have a friend card in your hand. there is no cooldown to put a friend into play after being drawn. draw only one card every turn after the first.

4. into play mechanic

There is a one turn cooldown until that friend can attack if it was just placed into play, unless otherwise specified on the card. items, shields, and abilities can be used any turn regardless of cooldowns, and even stacked.

5. attacks & blocks

each friend card into play can attack once per turn, and add the effect of any item cards equipped to the card. If a card with a shield is attacked, do what the shield card says. some cards can bypass shields, or get rid of your item cards, so be careful with placement! you can also strategically surrender an attack, and when you surrender your turn is over, so place any item cards before then.

6. items & abilities

most item cards are straightforward, but ability cards might be harder to spot. an ability is any card that isn't a shield, item, or friend. some of these cards are strange and might ignore turn rules, but add a twist to any match! sometimes just read what the  text is and try to fit it best to the situation, allowing your playing partner agrees.

7. how do i win?

When you have no available moves left, like you run out of cards, or you can't attack or place anything or draw from anywhere. you guys agree on that one.

these rules are only a suggestion,
feel free to iterate and expand them!
